We are extremely grateful to our community partners.
Together, we can do more.
MassMouth is a popular storytelling organization based in Boston. They host storytelling events throughout the city, and partner with local organizations to create more storytelling opportunities. For instance, Suitcase Stories creates a platform to honor the stories of refugees and immigrants throughout the city. MassMouth is serving as a mentor to Moving Stories Foundation, helping us to find our way in the storytelling world.
Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) works to organize recovering individuals, families, and friends into a collective voice, in order to educate the public about the value of recovery from alcohol and other addictions. Moving Stories Foundation is partnering with MOAR, to offer storytelling, music, and dance workshops to the MOAR community, and to continue to raise awareness about the disease of addiction, while reducing stigma.
families for justice as healing
Families for Justice as Healing is an advocacy organization, by and for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and girls. Their members advocate for community wellness, and reject governmental policies that prioritize criminalization and incarceration. Through legislation and policy advocacy, FJAH works to end the incarceration of women. As partners, FJAH helps Moving Stories Foundation to more adequately serve those who have experience within the criminal justice system.
